The Motorcycle my son owns is an Indian which he has owned since last summer, I think it was a birthday gift to himself!  He bought it near where he lives, but they went out of business just after.  So there is a shop near where we live which he goes to now.  We live about and hour + away from him.
This neat motorcycle image is from Just Inklined called Born to be Wild.  So my sentiment reflects that I want him to be safe.

We are having some rainy weather here right now, but we had two weeks where it only rained about one day which was good because it gave the roofers time to finish all the roofs in our complex -13 of them.  Also we had our decks stained as soon as our roof was done. It is quiet around here now.

Happy Day

I had a great time away with my friends, even though it rained the first day.  We did get to golf on day 2 and day 3 before we left to come home.  The course where we always stay was flooded so bad from the rains that we couldn't golf there.  We found a course about 9k away and it was just great.  In the evening some of us played a card game called golf, and there was one table of bridge.

They were to start the roofs in our complex while I was away, but due to the weather here they only got one done.  So hopefully next week will be better weather wise.

The Elsie Image is from Make It Crafty.  I have colored her with Copics, I used a Spellbinders die and dotted glitter glue on the background.  The metal flowers look dark, but they are bright silver from my stash.  The gift box is a sticker from Stash. The DP is from GCD Studios and has a linen like finish. This card is for one of my granddaughters on her Birthday.

My Name is Crystal

This cute image with the long braids is from Make It Crafty and her name is Crystal.

I have colored her with Copics cut around her with a Spellbinders die and colored the edges with my yellow copic.  I put dark blue DP on the front of the card and then a die cut from Recollections over it.  Added some sparkly shaped brads and the sentiment and more brads.  I think I need a new camera, the colors never seem to be quite the same as the true colors.  I must admit I have dropped the camera a couple of time!

Tomorrow morning I am going to leave to go on a three day golfing holiday in Forest Ontario with eleven other women golfers. My two oldest sons will be keeping an eye on their Dad while I am gone.  He should enjoy that!

Enjoying the good life

Wow it is a great day here, nice and bright and sunny and there are trucks and trailers and lots of men unloading shingles and putting them on the roofs in our complex.  They will start the actual work on Monday hopefully finishing one roof each day.  There are 13 units in our complex.  Could be rather noisy around here for a couple of weeks.

The card I have for to-day is for a friend who spent a week in Cuba recently and just spent a month  at a beach apartment in Florida.  She is part of our card group so celebrated her birthday yesterday!

The background image and the image of the sun bather are from Sassy Studios.  I have colored both with Copics.  I cut out the sun bather and popped up the image.  I added some stamped seagulls in the top corner and a jewel on the lower part of the card.
