Vintage Golfing

I am dating myself, but when I first started golfing one Sunday we went to a course not far from where I lived and found out that they would not let women on the course on a Sunday.  And I know that there were still a few courses that would not allow women to golf there at all.  Thank goodness everything changed a few years after that. And no, I never wore a long skirt golfing.

Anyway, I think that this is a very striking lady golfer - image from Two for Tuesday, paper pieced and coloured with copics. The DP is from DCWV and the border from Recollections.  I paper pieced the suit with cardstock from Recollections.  The flowers are from Prima. Lace from my stash.

I am entering this card in the following

Stampin for the Weekend             Flower Power
One Crazy Stamper                     Anything Goes
Challenges 4 Everybody              Anything Goes
Fab n Funky                               Spots (top & center of card)

Jackie what a great digi - love your colour choices for the paper piecing! George liked it as well. I may need to get that one for some of my golfing friends.
