Flowers for You

Have been busy - Hubby in the hospital for 6 days.  Went in with pains that turned out to be gall stones, even though he had his Gall Bladder removed quite a few years ago while we were on vacation in Florida.  They retrieved 2 stones.  Because of Parkinsons he uses a walker and his speech has been affected.  So he had lots of visitors between myself, our daughter and daughter-in-law and our son and his wife.    So now I am trying to catch up on many things including making cards.

No stamps!  No Copics!  DP from K&Company.  Gold die cut from Marianne Creatables.               Two flowers from Spellbinders die cuts and two flowers from my stash. All the Flower centers are from Recollections.  Lace and butterflies  from my stash.  I usually send this friend a funny card, but this year I decided to do a pretty card instead.  Thought my lace was on straight, but it sure doesn't look like it is in my photo!

Pretty Little Miss

Nice to be back posting again, computer problems,  I did comment on other blogs, but my reception was never good enough or long enough to post.  So I wouldn't even try.  Did get my Christmas cards made and mailed, but did not take any photos.  After three times having someone come and make corrections to our television and computer reception, they sent a young man who made all kinds of changes which gives us better quality TV and proper speed on the computer (no buffering now) . (Wish they had sent him out first!)  Busy but wonderful Christmas and great New Years!  Hope you enjoyed the Holiday Season as much as we did!

This card is for a sweet granddaughter who just turned eleven -  The image is from Digi Stamps 4 Joy, by Jen and has been coloured with Copics.  The Die cut is a Spellbinders.  The flowers, butterflies and DP are from my stash.  The sentiment is a free image from Desert Diva.

Teen Birthday

Pretty cold here right now, but it is suppose to warm up over the next few days, and our snow should all melt as we only have a few inches.  Have been busy curling normally just two days a week, but last week it was four days - lots of fun.

This digital image is from Mo Manning and has been coloured with Copic markers and Fussy cut.  DP from My Minds Eye and Provo Craft.  Brown ribbon and green dots from stash. Sentiment Stamp IC Clingables. Clock Ranger stamp.  Card for a 16 year old grandson.
