Presents for your Birthday

Really quite cool here again, but it is suppose to warm up for the weekend.  I can see the sunset through the trees at the back of the house, it is very pretty with orange and yellow colours  against the blue sky.

This is the strangest cardstock, the white that you see in reality has a gold sheen to it, but it does not show in the photo at all.  It's called Recollections Shimmer. I used my chalk pads to colour the raised background in yellow and green.

The cute little girl is from Cheryls Digital Images and the sentiment from Netty's Cards which I did not colour because of the gold sheen that is there but not showing up.  The background I embossed with a Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin folder which covers a 5 x 7 card. I added the gold ribbon and pearls from my stash.

I dropped the card off at my friends house this afternoon, so I can't take any more photos.  I had taken quite a few, but the light was not as good as some days.

Skateboard Girl

So many teens seem to have a skate board these days, to go along with their wireless devices. My granddaughter is no exception!

The image is from Sassy Studio Designs and I coloured her with Copics and then cut her out because I liked this piece of designer paper that I found in my stash. I then added the sentiment and glued it to a white card.

Have Your Cake & Eat it Too

Hope everyone have a wonderful Mothers Day, I certainly did with the grandkids and their parents!  It was just the younger grandchildren as the older boys were all at the cottage on such a nice weekend.

This image is from Saturated Canary and I have used the name for my title. I have coloured the image with copics, did a little bit of paper piecing on the cake.  Used a couple of my Spellbinders dies, Glitter Glue on the fireworks on the cake, flowers at bottom from Doodlebug Designs.  Butterflies, stamp and DP from my stash.
