Mr. Fix IT

For my brothers birthday I chose a Dr Digis image - I know my brother has made quite a few improvements around his home himself.  A regular Mr. Fix It he is!

Added some geometric card stock behind him.  Thought he needed a few more tools to work with, so added them to the card as well. Green leather strips from stash. The sentiment is a stamp from Impression Obsesssion.

Shoes, Shoes & More Shoes

It rained again, but the sun is shining brightly now, not too warm, just right!  Hubby wants to go out soon, so hope I have enough time to post this.

Image is from Lili of the Valley coloured with Copics. The card is for a friend that I swear has a new pair of shoes every time I see her, which is every three or four weeks.  The turquoise circles strip is from Doodlebug, Paper Frills.  The flowers from Forever in Time  and the bow, charm and pearls from my stash.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Scribble and Scrap       Anything Goes
Whoopsi Daisy             Lots of Pink

Happy Birthday Box Card

Well, I finally made my first attempt at a box card - thanks to you tube - there are quite a few versions to check out, I think mine became a combination of several!  It was a lot of fun, but I must admit I have never ended up having to wash my hands so many times because of the glue that was all over my fingers!  The cardstock was from Colorbok and K&Company.  The inserts are all stickers except for the pinwheels.
I found I had to glue the stickers to a piece of cardstock before I glued them in place. The shiny paper they came on would just separate.  Didn't think to take a picture of it folded !

Thought this photo gave you a better view of the layers.

This is for our friend who has alzhiemers and parkinsons and is in a nursing home, hope he realizes it is for his birthday!
