Walking or Golfing

This digital image of two old fashioned ladies is from TLC.  Made the card for one of my golfing friends, because I think the lady in the background is swinging a golf club.  I have paper pieced the ladies and the whole background, so no colouring other than copics for the faces.  Cardstock and the flower from my stash.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Hiding in My Craftroom                   Freestyle
Lady Bug Crafts                                Anything Goes

Boots Required For Summer

Well another card for a male, my grandson who is turning 21 and attends University.  He had a summer job applying sealer to driveways.  His boss had the boys knocking on doors to get the customers and then doing the jobs themselves.  Part way through the summer he decided he would take away their commision for getting the customer and only pay them an hourly rate which was lower than minimum wage.  They both quit, went out and got a trailer and a tank and set up their own business.  Last I heard they were doing quite well.

I don't very often do a CAS card, but decided on one this time.  So everything is very minimal.  The boot tracks are from Digi stamps 4 Joy.  I popped up the heel and the sole to give some definition and used a stamp which I embossed with red for the sentiment.  White and red cardstock on a black card from my stash.

I think he will like it.  I am entering the card in the following challenges:

Artistic Inspirations                  Anything Goes
Cards Galore                          Make a Card
Crafting at the Weekend         Anything Goes
Creative Fingers                     Anything Goes
Flat Friends                            Uncoloured Digi card

Golfing for Fun

With eight grandsons, three sons, two brothers and several male friends I seem to make a lot of cards for the men in my life. I am lucky that most of them are involved in sports, are musical, or have an occupation I can base my cards on!  This card is for my grandson who plays hockey all winter, but loves to golf when he is home in he summer.  He is going back to start practices and training for hockey this week, but hopefully will have time for a few more games of golf.

Not the best photo, should have checked it before I gave it to him.   All the images are from TLC.  The designer paper is from Theresa Collins - Posh.  The green marker at the top is from Tyandaga Golf course where he often golfs as it is right here in the city of Burlington. (Also where I golf every Monday morning in a Ladies 9 hole league.  He golfs 18 holes.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
