Really quite cool here again, but it is suppose to warm up for the weekend. I can see the sunset through the trees at the back of the house, it is very pretty with orange and yellow colours against the blue sky.
This is the strangest cardstock, the white that you see in reality has a gold sheen to it, but it does not show in the photo at all. It's called Recollections Shimmer. I used my chalk pads to colour the raised background in yellow and green.
The cute little girl is from Cheryls Digital Images and the sentiment from Netty's Cards which I did not colour because of the gold sheen that is there but not showing up. The background I embossed with a Cuttlebug - Anna Griffin folder which covers a 5 x 7 card. I added the gold ribbon and pearls from my stash.
I dropped the card off at my friends house this afternoon, so I can't take any more photos. I had taken quite a few, but the light was not as good as some days.

Love the way the chalk enhances the embossing. It adds such a beautiful touch! The pearls make this a wonderfully feminine card.

I Like this card - especially the way you coloured the background - I must remember to do that sometimes. Nice to have a large folder too. The little girl is sweet. I have used similar CS with a gold sheen.
