For the Love of Sewing
Pattie's Creations supplied this digital image for the cdacpc22a challenge. This part of the progressive challenge is only on for a couple more days, so I am kind of late with my entry. I colored the image with copics, added a couple of buttons which I colored with copics and some pins to the pincushion which I had in my sewing supplies. The DP is from My Mind's Eye and the sentiment is from DCWV. I then added Ranger Distress Ink to the DP and the image using three different shades. The lace was from my stash.
It's been raining here and the winds are fairly strong, but sounds like we might get much worse in the next couple of days.

Trying for the Big One
A card for my grandson turning 19 who does love to fish. The image is from Digi Stamps for Joy. I have colored the image with copics, and used a silver Gelly Roll pen from Sakura for the Fishing pole and reel.
The punch is from EK Success. The fish hooks down the side are from Canadian Tire. The sentiment is a stamp from Inkadinkado. And the card stock is from my stash.
I am entering this into DS4J challenge #53 Anything Goes - with a masculine twist.

Mushrooms from the Forest
What color are mushrooms! Any pretty color you would like them to be! This sweet image is from Digi Stamps for Joy. I colored the image with copics, and then applied Rangers Glossy Accents all over the image. I mounted it on a die cut from Spellbinders. Added a strip of DP across the background DP and a ribbon with bow. I then stuck several pins that I had made into the bow. This is rather a dark card, but if I have time I will make another in lighter colors. I am entering this in the CDAC Progressive Challenge 22a and 22b. And Challenge #53 Digi Stamps for Joy, With a Masculine Twist.
I will have to get moving and get my other cards made, don't know where time goes these days, but the weather has not been too bad lately, not too cold to be out and about.

Music for Teens
I find that making a card for a teenage boy is sometimes quite a chore, but D'Arcy's Diaries has some wonderful images that suit my grandsons to a T. This image was colored with copics, the DP is from DCWV. I really like the way the colored circles on the paper sort of framed the image. The stamp sentiment is from Inkadinkadoo.
Hopefully I will be over this cold soon and will be able to keep up with blogging better than I have over the last few weeks. My husband is down to one physio session a week from three, so that will free up some time for me. My curling does start next week, so I will be there Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, did not sign up for competitive curling this year as Norms physio is on the morning they have that.
Pretty Lady
I just loved this image from Anjies Antics from the moment I saw it. Don't know if I did it justice, but I do like the haughtiness of her raised chin and her beautiful features. I colored her with copics, mounted the image on black cs and then used the blue for the actual card. The Happy Birthday sentiment is an Inkadinkado stamp.
Fill Your Shoes
Wow, didn't realize how far behind I was in posting my cards to my blog. But here I go again to-day.
This is a wonderful digi from Mo Manning, I do love all her images. I made this card for one of my friends who is the organizer for a group of 15 - we golf together, and have all kinds of get-togethers for everyones birthday during the year, sometimes we celebrate two or three birthdays at the same time if they are all in the same month! I did not add anything fancy, just let the image speak for itself. Colored with copics, sentiment was computer generated and the organdy butterfly from Crafts.

Florida Girl
This is another image from Sassy Studios - isn't she gorgeous? Such a fun image to work with, colored her with copics and popped her up on a google map of Florida. What could be easier! Added Sentiment from computer.
This is for my other friend named Alice and she was thrilled with it as she leaves Ontario every winter and goes south to Florida.
Happy Birthday Alice
Image from Sassy Studios, colored with copics. Ribbon from Crafts, Flowers on side embossed then colored and pink sequin type flowers added to centers. Sentiment computer generated.
I have two friends named Alice and we celebrate their birthdays together every year. This card is for the younger Alice!
Soccer Anyone
This is another image from Pollycraft, now sold by Little Miss Muffet. Simple card to make colored with copics, DP is from K and Company mounted on blue cardstock. The stars and stripes are a sticker from my stash. This is for my nephew's son who just had a birthday. Daxton is his name and he lives in BC so I don't get to see him too often. I do hope that he is interested in soccer!

Girl in Boots
I just love images of little girls with large eyes! This one is from Pollycraft which is now being sold by Little Miss Muffet. Isn't she charming. The card is for my niece's daughter Sarah who was 10 years old. I colored her with copics. The dp is from my stash and I added some mesh and some stickers from Dollarama. Thought it made a nice bright card.
Girly Girl Pig
CDACPC21 is an ongoing challenge this cute little image is a free image from Doodle Pantry if you have participated in the last challenge, BUT you can buy in at any time. I have colored her with copics, added a string bow to her tail. Framed her, added sentiments and gems from my stash.
Have had a rotten cold and have not added some of my other cards I have made over the last week, so I will have to get busy.
