The Blue Goddess

This image is just one of a series of four that I purchased from TLC.  I was wondering what I should use as a sentiment on the card when I received a thank you for another purchase from TLC which included the lovely rose sentiment which I think is just perfect for this card!  "The ROSE reserved for goddesses".

The colors are based on The Inspiration Progressive Challenge at CDAC from this photo:

This challenge runs April 1st – June 30th (midnight PST).
The Challenge Inspiration is...

The image is colored with copics.  I cut around the frame of the image and mounted it on colored cardstock layers.  I added some lace and a ribbon flower from my stash.  I colored the beige flower with my copics to try to match my other colors.

Every year in June I go golfing with a group of friends, I think there will be 12 this year to Forest, Ontario.  On one of the holes there are several Wild Rose Bushes that are just like the roses on the image above, except they are a nice shade of pink rather than the blue that I colored them.  I am going next week for three days, so hope they are still there.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Ruby

Ruby is a sweet image with lots of  flowers from Wee Stamps.

Had a great day so far - managed to finish planting the flowers in my garden to-day, though I usually add more during the season.  It has rained quite a few days lately so it was half finished until I could get at it again.

Ruby is colored with copics.  The yellow butterfly is emblossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The Edge punch is from EK Success.  The Die Cut for the image is from Spellbinders.  The sentiment is from Nettys Cards.  The ribbon from Michaels - the lace, and DP are from my stash.

I am entering this in the following challenges:

Bugaboo - Anything Goes

Crafting By Designs - Anything Goes

Heck of a Challenge - Bingo Lace - Yellow - flowers

Belli Challenge - Flowers

The Canoes

My niece has twin boys, they live in the US, but in the summer the family spends time at their cottage on the lake in Ontario, Canada.  It was their birthday this week and these are the cards I made for them.
I always do Ryan's card with mostly red and Nathan usually gets blue or green.

I purchased the images from The Scrapbook Stamp Society but the artist is from Digi Doodles.

I flipped the image to get one on the right and one on the left, but they would not go side by side.

I used copics to color the image.  The sentiment is from Netty's Cards.  I added the string to the sentiment and to the bottom of the card.  Kept it fairly simple.
