I really had to think about this one - but if I remember rightly the theme for these images was supposed to be food, though not too many of them fell into that category when we made our cards. This is my last card for CDAC Progressive Challenge 7. The crab is an image from Tiffany Doodles and is colored with copics. The strawberries are from Creative Charms, the ribbon from my stash and the wording computer generated right onto the card.
If you have not entered into any of the Progressive Challenges, I hope you will do so, the next one starts on the first of December and runs until the 15th. All new images.
Please leave a comment, I so love to read them!

Birthday Sentiment
This is my 5th card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge 7. I chose to make a gift card, it does open. This very useful sentiment was from Sending Treasures. The card was cut with a Nellie Snellen die. The second layer has been embossed with a folder from Crafting to you. The center was again cut with the smaller Nellie Snellen die. The green gems were from Melissa Frances.
The Yak
Isn't he a hairy looking beast. This is my 4th card for CDAC Progressive Challenge 7. The bull is from Crafting with Jack. I colored him with copics starting out light and then deciding I liked him darker. (The pictures I saw on the internet showed they come in all colors.) Added the sheave and ribbon and chipboard button from my stash. Sentiment stamp from Art Impressions. Cardstock from DCWV. I think it looks like a man's card, hope someone will appreciate it.
If you have time, comments are greatly appreciated!

An Apple a Day
This card is for the CDAC Progressive Challenge, 7, Which ends in a couple of days. The digital image of the apple is from Heart Song Designs. The apple is colored with copics. The sentiment is from Micheals, The green apple is a button, I cut the shank off the back. The embossing is a folder from Crafts-Too you. A quick card as I have been busy babysitting, and my computer is not working (thank goodness my husband has one too.)

The Honey Bear
Isn't he just the sweetest little bear! The digital image is from Sew Many Cards for CDAC Progressive Challenge, series 7. This is my second card for this series. I colored the bear and the tree with copics, added some Glossy accents and used a photo of the sky that I took from the back of our house. The sentiment was computer generated.
Had a houseful of family for the weekend, 7 children, 3 adults. So I was very busy for a few days, and then on Monday, when I went to use my computer it wouldn't let me download pictures or print. I am using my husbands computer until I can get mine fixed, but I will have a six month old here for the next fours days. I will have to try to get my other cards done when he is napping, or after he goes to bed at night.
Comments are appreciated, thanks for looking!

The Snowboarder
This is a card for my thirteen year old grandson, Jarrod - he snowboards and skis in the winter - which means he will be out there soon. I colored the trees and the snowboarder with copics. I put glitter on the mountain top and snowpen on the area where the snowboarder is standing. I didn't like the effect of either one, so I covered them both with white Gesso. (Actually when heating the white from the snowpen it turned brown in one spot - too much heat!). The sky is colored with Distress Ink with a brush. The DP is from Basic Grey. Sometimes it's hard to find an image for a boy this age, so I was pleased when I came across this one from Guylou.
One old Hen
This is a gift / pillow box made for CDAC Progressive Challenge Series 7. The upper picture is closer to the true color than the lower one. The Hen was colored with copics, and gems were added to head, tail and body. The image of the hen is from Sugar Creek Hollow and the Birthday sentiment is from Sending Treasures. The other sentiment was computer generated - have to have a little fun sometimes! It is ll inches long, so will hold a gift.

The Perfect Bride
This is my sixth card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge series 6, which is over at midnight to-night. This wonderful image is from Margaret Kieser, a member, this was one of the top images in the Drawing Challenge last month!! The lattice on each side of the bride is part of an image from Nana Vic. The bride is colored with Copics. I used a Quickie Glue pen to add glitter to add glitter to the dress and veil. The lattice is colored with white Pergamano pen. The lace and roses are from Dollarama. Blue cardstock from my stash. I think she is a beautiful bride!

Lilac Butterfly
A very pretty but quick card to make. The glitter on the butterfly wings does not show up in the photo as well as it does on the card. The image is is called Exotic Butterfly from Cheery Lynn Designs. The background is a cuttle bug folder, after embossing it, I used a small mauve ink pad to highlight the design. The sentiment has no name on the sheet, and it is not in it's original packaging.
I'm quite excited, because tomorrow I get to look after my youngest grandson; (Colton (6 Months old). He will only be here for to-night and until noon tomorrow, but next week I get to look after him for a whole day while his older brother and sisters go to the waterpark in Niagara. Have to enjoy the kids while they are still young, they grow so fast. Next week my husband is having a cataract removed from his left eye and in two weeks, they will do the right eye. Lots of appointments to get to before he is finished.

Bear Family Sliding Downhill
This is my third card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge series six which will end on the 15th of Novermber and I still have two more cards to make . The image of the bear is from Design 2 Delight. I had fun with this image copying it 4 times in different sizes. The bears are colored with copics, the sky with Distress Ink, and the snow is from a Marvy Uchida snow marker. The snowflake stickers are from Starform, and the Sentiment printed on my computer.
We have had some wonderful weather here, so did some work in my garden trimming shrubs and pulling out the tomato plants, etc. I have been curling mornings three times a week, have been on the winning side more often lately so get to buy the drinks!

Barn Scene
This is my second card for the CDAC Progressive Challange, series 6. This wonderful barn scene is from Ginger Loft. I have used Ranger Distress Ink using the ink pad and sponges direct to paper. I used post it notes to cover the areas where I was not stamping, or coloring. I printed out the image on a slant, then stamped in the triangular areas at each corner of the card. Then colored the card. The Ponderosa Pine branch stamp is from Stampendous, and the Christmas word stamp is from Inkadinkado. I am so used to doing Christmas cards in red and green or gold or silver, that I don't know if these colors are right or not!
The shopping Elephant
This cute little Elephant who likes to shop is a digital image from Inked Treasures. I have colored her with copics. Cut a hole in the designer paper to frame her with a Nellie's multi frame's oval. The Snowflakes at the top of the card were cut with a Marianne Design die. The DP is from K&Company, and the ribbon from my stash. This is my first card for the CDAC Progressive Challenge, series 6, which ends November 15th.
My favorite store for card making supplies is closing at the end of the month. As long as I have been making cards they have had free classes on Saturday mornings, a weekend in the spring and fall, with classes and lunch for both days free of charge, and make and takes. I have not always been able to attend, but have gone when I could, and have gotten to know the names of most of the people in their classes. They display the cards that the teachers for the classes made, and you are allowed to take pictures of them. They also had classes taught by some of the suppliers some free, some where you were doing hands on, and paid for the day. The store is Angela's Creative Papercraft in Dundas, Ontario, Canada and we will miss not only the store, but the wonderful staff.

The wind angel on a cloud
My fifth card for CDAC Progressive Challenge series 5. The image "Angel on a cloud" from Just Some Lines By Jehanne. I chose to use the Irish Blessing on this card thinking of the line - "May the wind always be at your back." I have kept the card fairly simple, using copics to color the image and the sails of the ship, also, to edge the sentiment which I typed on the computer. The ship and the anchors are gold stickers from Starform.

Dirt Biker
I know my grandson rides his motor bike in his uncles fields, but I have no idea what the bike looks like! This is another great digital image from Kenny K, I think I have used one of his images for every one of my grandsons, there are seven, actually eight, but the last one is only 6 months old! I had colored the image with copics and cut circles with my coluzzle and the larger circle with my Martha Stewart Cutter. Added colored cardstock to finish it off. A fun card to make, now to add something to the inside to make it complete.
Was curling this morning, this is our second week, I have curled five games, all with different people, and I have not had the privilege of buying anyone a drink - which means I have not been on a winning team yet. Oh well, hope there are better days ahead.

The Boy and his Frog
A wonderful image for a young boy from Fred She Said. I have colored the image with copics. The DP is from K&Company. Sentiment is a small stamp with no markings. This is a card I am sending to my nephews son, They live in BC, but we did get to visit with them in Ontario this summer. I have 4 cards to finish addressing to get in the mail, so I had better get busy. It was a really cold grey day here to-day, but I understand we are to get some very warm weather again. Looking forward to that as I don't want to put those golf clubs away yet.

Lord Duck
This awesome image is from Ninecrane Designs. I thought the image would lend itself to a collage type of card, I have never done one before, so hope that I have enough contrast between the additions. The background paper has been in my stash for a long time. The center of the clock, the hand, and the top Eiffel Tower were cut from the same page and popped up. The key and the stamp in the right lower corner were from stamps from Inkadinkadoo, I popped them up as well. The duck , key and some of the background were colored with Ranger Distress Inks. An Old Fashioned Teacup
This cup is a bonus digital image from Sandi Sample, very pretty. The card is for the August CDAC Progressive Challenge. I used denim Ranger distress ink with a stipple brush for the background of the cup and colored the flowers with copics and added some trim with a silver paint pen. The background paper and sentiment are from Paper Boutique, a scrapbook kit.
When we got married, they used to give the bride a teacup shower before she was married. Now we don't use these cups too often, because the dishwasher takes the silver or gold off the edges. Now most of my friends prefer to use a mug whether it is for tea or coffee. Now I have china mugs for tea.
